Fees and Rebates

Each initial consult* includes a 50-60min face to face or Zoom session (time depends on the mode of access below), plus an additional 60min non-contact time after your consult. This time is used to create and send you your collaborative and personalised movement recommendations, a complimentary movement resources booklet, and also write an in-depth letter to the members of your clinical team you consent to us contacting, introducing exercise physiology, detailing our collaborative plan, inviting team collaboration, etc. 

Many people attend their initial consult exclusively as a ”Single-Session Intervention”, which can serve as a once-off session to gain an idea of where things are at with their movement, specific recommendations to integrate with the support of their clinical team, access practical resources, enter into classes, etc. 

*The NDIS plan managed consults add a ”letter writing” fee as below.

• If using a Medicare Chronic Disease Management Plan (CDMP): 
  •  $260 for 50min with a rebate of $60.35 (or up to $221 if you have reached your Medicare Safety Net)
  • AIM processes your rebate for you, which is paid to your bank account within 1-2 days. 
  • Please note, you may only receive up to x5 rebatable 1:1 sessions per calendar year under this plan.
• If using a Medicare Type 2 Diabetes Melitis Care Plan (T2DM plan):
  •  $260 for 60min with a rebate of $77.40+ (or up to $221 if you have reached your Medicare Safety Net)
  • AIM processes your rebate for you, which is paid to your bank account within 1-2 days.
  • Please note, you may only receive x1 rebatable 1:1 session per calendar year under this plan. To add more rebatable sessions, many people then switch to using their CDMP for an additional x5 rebatable consults per calendar year.
• If self managed via NDIS: 
  • $260 for 60min
• If plan managed via NDIS: 
  • $166.99 consult for 60min + $93 letter writing and personalised recommendations post-session for 60min (invoices are emailed directly to your plan manager).
• If using Private Health: 
  • $260 for 50min; rebates depend on your fund and level of cover.
• Work Cover and DVA: 
  • As per national rates.

1:1 review consults are recommended weekly to fortnightly during the first month, then weekly to monthly thereafter (or at another frequency which feels more helpful or accessible). Three and six month reviews are also recommended.

• If using a Medicare Chronic Disease Management Plan (CDMP): 
  •  $210 for 50min with a rebate of $60.35 (or up to $178.50 if you have reached your Medicare Safety Net), or $110 for 30min with a rebate of $60.35 (or up to $$89.25 if you have reached your Medicare Safety Net). AIM processes your rebate for you, which is paid to your bank account within 1-2 days. Please recall, you may only receive up to x5 rebatable 1:1 sessions per calendar year under this plan.
• If self managed via NDIS: 
  • $210 for 60min.
• If plan managed via NDIS: 
  • $166.99 consult for 60min + $93 letter writing and personalised recommendations post-session for 60min (invoices are emailed directly to your plan manager).
• If using Private Health: 
  • $210 for 50min; rebates depend on your fund and level of cover.
• Work Cover and DVA: 
  • As per national rates.

Classes:

• Casual: $35/class; to be used within one month of purchase.
• 5-Pack Upfront: Discount - $150 ($30/class); to be used within six months.
• 10-Pack Weekly Direct Debit: Discount - $270 ($27/class); weekly instalments; to be used within 12 months.
• 10-Pack Upfront: Discount - $250 ($25/class); to be used within 12 months.

Movement Excursions:

• A $25 flat administrative/organisation and EP attendance fee will apply to each person for each excursion.
• An additional fee <$50 will be applied to excursions involving an external organisation or provider.
• Excursions are therefore either $25 if no external provider is required or up to ~$50 if they are.

Rebates:

• Rebates for both classes and excursions may be available via:
• Private health: Depending upon your level of cover.
• NDIS: Depending upon your level of cover.
• Medicare Type 2 Diabetes Melitis Care Plan: Up to eight group class rebates per calendar year may apply. AIM processes your rebate for you ($19.30 per class, or more if you have reached your Medicare Safety Net), which is paid to your bank account within 1-2 days. 

Absolutely. If you are experiencing financial hardship we are more than willing to discuss session/class rates that feel more accessible for you. We are also open to donations to help increase the scale of our services and provide complimentary sessions. If you are interested in donating please contact us.

1:1 sessions cancellation policy: 

A late cancellation fee equivalent to 50% of the consult amount applies to cancellations for any reason within 48 hours of the appointment (excludes weekends) and a 100% fee applies within 24 hours (excludes weekends) unless the booking is rescheduled and attended within seven calendar days.

Class/excursion cancellation policy: 

For classes purchased casually (i.e. at the higher rate), NO late cancellation fee applies. For classes purchased in a pack, a 100% fee applies to cancellations within 24 hours of the class (excludes weekends) for any reason. Packs are heavily discounted so cancelation fees are still lower than purchasing each class on a casual basis.
